THE GUITARSENAL at HEARSTUDIOS is a dream come true for guitarists of all styles. Dozens of highly collectible vintage and modern guitars and amps bring sonic and textural authenticity to any session. Need a ’57 Les Paul with dual P90s into a 60’s Fender Super Reverb? Looking for a Hendrix-type tone? How about a ‘65 Strat through a ‘65 Marshall 100 head and your choice of three different vintage Marshall Cabs with original Celestions?  Beatles anyone? Our ’64 Vox AC30 with Top-Boost does the trick. Get that “spank” with a vintage 60s Tele and a 65 Twin. Metal players — big Mesa Boogies in the house too. And two studio favorites – a mid 60s Gibson ES-335 and Gibson Reverse Firebird, are available for the discerning sonic palette. R&B bassists will love the tone of our pristine ‘68 Jazz Bass (Thomastic flatwound strings) through the original Ampeg B15 or Walter Woods head. For the tonal latitude required of slap-funk, fusion, rock and other styles, the Fender Custom Shop Jazz Bass with active EQ does the trick. There’s an impressive array of vintage EFX pedals too, including a classic Arbiter Fuzz Face and Wah, and a broad selection of modern builders devices including Fulltone, Radial, TC Electronics, RMC, Keeley, BBE, Boss and many more (even some bass EFX pedals!).  And don’t forget the liquid sweetness of our mint vintage Maestro Echoplex! Acoustic stringed instruments are on the list as well and include Jumbo Guild 6 and 12 string models, a tasty Larrivee “OOO” styled guitar, a “Baby Taylor” for some unique textures and more. And a guitar synth is available for adding desired textures without a keyboard. We update our guitar gear frequently, so check back to see what’s new. So guitarists — if you don’t own it and you want “that sound” — ANY sound — HEARSTUDIOS has what you need! And there is a pro multi-stylistic guitarist / producer with forty-two years of deep experience on staff to help you achieve that perfect tone!
